As the new school year begins, I know that many of us are feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation, which is understandable as normalcy has been redefined by the pandemic. For nearly a year and a half, events and experiences occurred in our education that we never anticipated, let alone would label as “normal.” Regardless of all of the curveballs that Covid has thrown us, students, families and educators have persisted and persisted successfully. Don’t forget your accomplishments achieved during the pandemic, and use the wisdom and strength you have developed through this challenging time to propel you forward. You have already proven you can surmount the unexpected and the unknown. Don’t stop now. Another year of learning and adventure awaits you.
On that note, I would like to share with you some of my favorite quotes that have provided inspiration, especially in difficult moments. May these words of wisdom offer you encouragement in the days ahead.
“Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.” – Jim Rohn
“Every student can learn, just not on the same day, or the same way.” -George Evans
“All progress takes place outside the comfort zone.” -Michael John Bobak
“Never fail means never learn. Never learn means never grow.” – Wilson Kanadi
“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” -B.B. King
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”
-Mark Twain
“Every tomorrow has two handles. We can take hold of it with the handle of anxiety or the handle of faith.” – Henry Ward Beecher
“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” -Confucius
“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.” -Henry Ford
I wish all of our clients and colleagues the very best as the new school year begins.
Warmly,
